Employee Benefits Program Manager - This position is responsible for overseeing the day to day functions of the program, aiding plan participant with benefit inquires, resolving concerns, and researching plan benefits. This position also markets the program, coordinates implementation of new groups, oversees enrollment and eligibility, directs the renewal process and acts as liaison with contracted vendors. The Program Manager also conducts training/consumer education seminars and provides member services and contract benefit interpretations for all MMIA members.
EB Program Development Specialist -This self-directed position assists the Program Manager in analyzing member requests, loss experiences and industry trends to ensure plan designs are meeting member needs and industry standards. The incumbent is also responsible for member education and the marketing of member services to all municipalities. Position serves as the communication link between members and the MMIA.
Enrollment Eligibility Specialist - This position is responsible for inputing and maintaining accurate electronic eligibility for the MMIA self-funded health insurance program. This position also researches member eligibility for enrollment and manages the billing for the program. This position works to assess member needs and resolve concerns as well.
Employee Benefit Member Services Representative - This position is responsible for the member services, communication, and education programs in the Employee Benefits Department with an emphasis toward wellness initiatives and other risk management activities in the EB Program. Specifically the position will support staff and members with the development of training programs and communications. Other responsibilities include benefit interpretation, resolving member concerns, benefit and industry research, and marketing to the membership. This is a self-directed position that performs a variety of routine and complex technical, clerical, and administrative duties to coordinate and administer the program’s operations and member services issues.
